A COUPLE OF NOTES TO AID IN PACKING FOR CAMP

In a Ziploc bag, pack 1 t-shirt, 1 pair of Underwear and 1 pair of socks. This will ensure that the scouts change every day, and helps keep the dirty separate from the clean.

If you have them, send pants with the zip-off legs…if the weather changes, your scout can adjust accordingly, very quickly.

A twin sized bed sheet or lightweight blanket can come in handy, in case the weather is very warm at night, your scout can lie on top of his sleeping bag, and cover with the sheet

NOTES:

STICK TO THE LIST…your scout will have more than he/she needs in the above list. Extra clothes and items in your scout’s pack/duffel means more to carry to and from the campsite, and more time to pack/clean up, along with more of a chance to lose things.

NO ELECTRONICS IN CAMP…they are allowed to and from camp, but once we hit the parking lot, they stay in the car for the entire camp. Any electronics in the campsite, other than leader approved, will be confiscated and not returned until we leave camp. This includes cell phones. The leaders will have their cell phones available in case of emergency, and they will call you if there are issues, please don’t call them.

LABEL EVERYTHING…it will aid in tracking down the owner.
