The Pinewood Derby Event is one of the most anticipated events of the year!! There is 1 sign-up for ALL PARTS of this event. Please make sure to read everything below and then follow the sign-up link if planning to participate in the 2025 Pinewood Derby event. We will be handing out cars at the January 16th Pack meeting and again at Blue and Gold event on February 20th . All payments (if needed) will need to be made by Blue and Gold event or other arrangements have been made

Woodshop Day
When - Saturday, January 24th
Where - Ashwaubenon High School Wood Shop
Time - 9:00AM-11:00AM (MUST ARRIVE NO LATER THEN 10:30)
Description - Scouts are invited to bring their derby car kit to the Ashwaubenon High School to cut and sand their car. We recommend that parents/adults help their scout prepare a design ahead of time (on paper or draw it on the car) so when you come to the woodshop they are ready to cut and sand. This is not required of your scout, but it is a great opportunity fort hem to experience power tools in a safe way to mold their block of wood into a neat car design!!
Pinewood Derby Check-In Night
When - Friday, March 6
Where - Ashwaubenon Community Center
Time - 6 - 7 PM
Description - Scouts will check in their derby cars during this time. They will make sure they meet the requirements for racing size and weight. Any scout wishing to participate in the 2026 Derby MUST check in their car by the end of check-in time.
Pinewood Derby Race
When - Saturday March 7th
Where - Ashwaubenon Community Center
Time - 9:00AM - 12:00PM, doors open at 8:30 AM
Description - It is race day!! Family members are welcome to watch as scouts break into dens to race their cars to see whose the fastest!
There will be food, awards and a lot of fun!!!
